Manager of Governance and Risk Management

Role Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our governance and risk management initiatives. As the Manager of Governance and Risk Management, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to manage potential risks around conflicts of interest and foreign interests, ensuring a balanced and pragmatic approach to mitigation.

About You:
To succeed in this role, you will possess a strong service orientation and ability to work collaboratively across organisational boundaries. You will have demonstrable knowledge of research integrity principles and the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and deliver briefings and presentations to senior stakeholders and committees on research transparency and disclosure activities.
