About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Mental Health Professional to join our team as a Quality Improvement Consultant. As a key member of our Quality Improvement Team, you will contribute to developing and implementing strategies to enhance patient outcomes and service quality across our mental health services.

Jurisdiction Overview

Northern Health Authority operates five main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. Our mental health services are provided at multiple locations throughout Melbourne's northern suburbs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain an understanding of individual responsibility for patient safety, quality & risk and contribute to organisational quality and safety initiatives.
  • Follow organisational safety, quality & risk policies and procedures.
  • Promote and participate in the evaluation and continuous improvement processes.
  • Comply with principles of Patient Centred Care.

Requirements

  • A degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Registration as a Psychiatric Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a mental health setting.

  • An estimated salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
