Laundry Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with laundry tasks, including washing, drying, ironing, and folding of residents' clothing.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the laundry area.
  • Operate industrial laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, and irons.
  • Sort and categorize laundry items according to fabric type and color.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient and effective laundry operations.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role in Aged Care is ideal but not essential.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Updated knowledge on HSW guidelines and HACCP requirements.
  • A genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly.
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination.
  • NDIS check (or willing to obtain).
