Leadership Role

This is a key leadership position responsible for the success or failure of our business performance. As a senior manager, you will be personally accountable for developing and executing a business strategy that maximizes profit.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Understand Microsoft's strategy, plans, and priorities to develop a business plan and profit maximization strategy.
  • Provide clear direction to sales, marketing, and pre-sales teams on how to succeed with Microsoft.
  • Use data sources to manage performance against Key Performance Indicators.
  • Actively seek ways to boost sales and grow share of wallet.
  • Engage with global teams to bring proven innovations to new markets.
  • Build strong personal relationships across Microsoft and with key partners.
  • Manage a group of Cloud technologies and have an overarching relationship with Microsoft.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree qualification preferred.
  • Minimum High School certificate required.
  • Diploma in IT or Cloud/related field highly regarded.
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in IT distribution as a Channel Sales Manager or high performing outbound Business Development Manager with customer service orientation.
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring people and providing leadership and guidance.
  • Understanding of managing a Vendor level P&L with support from Finance team.
  • Appropriate vendor product sales certifications.
  • Good understanding of channel business and existing reseller partner relationships in Australia or New Zealand.
