Case Manager Opportunity

This role provides case management support to clients who have been identified as vulnerable to or engaging in violent extremism. The successful candidate will work closely with clients and their support networks, and multiple internal and external stakeholders to deliver service interventions.

The Case Manager will be responsible for the coordination of CVE interventions through a holistic approach to ensure service delivery is met. This includes tasks relating to administration, records, and report preparation/reporting, administration and records management.

As part of the team, you will be required to:

  • Utilise risk assessments, client information and work with client and stakeholders to understand risks and needs
  • Develop a case plan with the client to address disengagement and develop pro-social factors
  • Provide client representation and case planning with other government and non-government agencies to ensure appropriate services for the client to address needs
  • Prepare client updates, background and progress reports and letters for the courts
  • Present updates about your clients to the multi-disciplinary team and report to a multi agency panel for feedback, advice and endorsement
  • Work collegiately with our state and federal law enforcement partners
  • Formulate and deliver case plans, reports and updates within tight deadlines with competing priorities
  • Be committed to ongoing learning and development in the understanding of violent extremism and best practice in disengagement
