Job Description

The Manager, Finance and Risk leads the operation and strategic oversight of finance functions for Disability Homes Victoria branch. The team is responsible for managing revenue collection and expenditure governance for the portfolio. They also identify, analyse, prioritise and treat risks relevant to the department's provision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an advanced knowledge of current best practice in financial management, including understanding public sector budget operations and management
  • Ensure compliance with NDIS Code of Conduct, NDIS Practice Standards and relevant legislation, particularly with respect to revenue claiming and receipts
  • Provide authoritative, expert advice to senior leadership on revenue and expenditure policy, risks, trends and options for decision-making
