We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Learning and Development Officer to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Capability & Engagement Manager and Advisor, bringing our learning and development strategy to life and ensuring training meets business and individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the planning, administration, and resources necessary to prepare and deliver learning and development activities within agreed timeframes and to specified outcomes.
  • Deliver learning and development activities, including workshops and training to facilitate effective, consistent, and informative customer service delivery.
  • Support the Capability & Engagement Manager in conducting training needs analyses (TNA) to identify skills and knowledge required for roles and business units.
  • Create a variety of learning and development resources using authoring tools and video editing software.
  • Provide administrative support as required, including updating the learning & development intranet site, developing training procedures, generating compliance reports, monitoring staff registrations & attendance at training courses/workshops.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Learning & Development or similar role.
  • Experience designing and delivering learning programs, including using authoring tools and video editing software.
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to work with various stakeholders.
  • High-level organisational and time-management skills.
  • Sound project management skills with the ability to meet objectives and produce deliverables within agreed timelines.
  • A go-getter attitude and passion for continuous improvement within the L&D space.
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
