As a passionate and collaborative Chef De Partie, you will lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.

We strive for purity and simplicity in our dishes, using the finest produce and traditional cooking techniques to create honest, clean flavours.

Working closely with the Restaurant Chef, you will be responsible for maintaining high food standards, preparation, presentation, and cooking techniques according to established recipes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure food standards, preparation, presentation, and cooking techniques meet hotel standards and are maintained at that level.
  • Work with the kitchen brigade to address any issues that may impact food quality.
  • Strive for innovative, quality, value-for-money food that is presented and served in an appealing way.
  • Collate, photograph, and cost recipes to ensure they are followed accurately and meet hotel standards.
  • Cultivate a positive work environment that fosters learning and personal development.
  • Work closely with the front-of-house team to meet food and beverage operational objectives.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3-4 years of post-apprenticeship experience in a 5-star environment.
  • The ability to demonstrate creativity and flair in menu and meal design.
  • Leadership skills to maintain a cohesive kitchen team.
  • Organisational skills to manage time and work efficiently.
  • A curiosity and willingness to undertake further self-development.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
  • The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Culinary certificates upon application.
  • The ability to work a rotating roster including weeknights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • An understanding of and the ability to maintain food safety standards and HACCP.
