About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as Head of Business Risk, Compliance and Assurance. This is a critical role that will play a key part in ensuring the effective management of operational risk across our Wealth and Personal Banking business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a robust control framework to minimize operational risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and perform line 1 assurance activities to monitor and review the effectiveness of the control environment.
  • Design and implement controls assurance programs to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team to deliver exceptional results.
Requirements
  • Extensive leadership and management experience in risk, compliance, and assurance functions within the financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to build inclusive cultures, motivate, and coach high-performing teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a desire to base decisions on data and business value.
  • Good understanding of operational risk and controls, preferably gained through experience in front-line and risk roles.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
