**Job Overview**

We are seeking a Senior Strategy Manager to join our team in Brisbane Australia. This role will support the Head of Regulatory Strategy and Safer Gambling to develop and deliver a safer gambling strategic framework, ensuring we provide customers with the best and safest wagering experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a policy and/or research manager, preferably in gambling or a related field, and possess high-level writing skills, advanced communication skills, and emotional intelligence. They will also be able to effectively influence thinking that aligns with our culture and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor national and international gambling public policy development, including legislative and regulatory changes.
  • Contribute to national gambling public policy development through participation in legislative, regulatory, and policy review processes.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with safer gambling stakeholders, researchers, and providers of gambling help/support services.
  • Liaise with Entain PLC representatives in relation to Australian regulatory policy and safer gambling strategy activities and best practice.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of a safer gambling strategic framework.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a policy and/or research manager, preferably in gambling or a related field.
  • An understanding of the gambling industry and the gambling regulatory environment or the ability to quickly gain such an understanding.
  • High-level writing skills.
  • Advanced communication skills and emotional intelligence.
  • People management skills.
