Senior Strategy Manager - Brisbane based

This role provides leadership support to the Head of Commercial Strategy. You will be involved in developing the broader Commercial Strategy and transformation roadmap to achieve goals. You will be responsible for 1 or 2 Strategy Analysts and will be involved with special projects as well as BAU.

The role

  • Support and co-lead the development of commercial strategy and transformation roadmap for the commercial division
  • Proactively identify opportunities across commercial functions and lead cross-functional coordination where required
  • Actively lead and support ELT/Board updates
  • Work closely with Finance, Network and Revenue management teams to provide revenue forecasting.
  • Lead a workstream of special projects
  • Identify and manage risks and issues within the projects.
  • Ensure adherence to Risk management framework and ensure safety, security and business resilience

Key Requirements

  • Experience in Top Tier strategy/management consulting firm (3 years plus)
  • Experience leading strategy development, roadmap, with orientation towards commercial performance and outcomes
  • Experience in translating business questions into critical analysis to prove/disprove hypothesis
  • Experience in leading a small team of commercial strategy manager/analyst and continuously optimising for priorities
  • Experience interrogating and analysing large bodies of data to generate actionable insights
  • Experience in preparing CEO/Board level presentations
  • Experience operating with ambiguity
  • Strong strategy toolkit
