About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Advisor to join our client's team as an EL1 Level Assistant Director Strategy in a pivotal role.

This is a challenging position where you will be accountable for delivering high-level strategic advice and managing complex projects that contribute to shaping a world-leading Scheme in the Disability Sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and analyze insights to support strategy, policy, and operational practices.
  • Lead and manage complex and sensitive projects or work programs.
  • Provide high-level policy advice and operational support through sound judgment and strategic thinking.
  • Manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships, representing the organization across various forums.
  • Produce comprehensive reports, policy papers, and materials for senior stakeholders, including the Minister, Board, and Executive Leadership Team.
  • Facilitate discussions and present recommendations to senior leadership to drive organizational priorities.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to inform options and drive solutions.

Benefits:

About You:

  • Strong critical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
  • Proven analytical skills, with experience in developing fact-based quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Resilience and adaptability to navigate through organizational complexity and ambiguity.
  • A minimum of two year's experience in strategy development and delivering actionable recommendations.
  • Experience working in complex cross-functional teams, demonstrating emotional intelligence and stakeholder management.
  • Desirable: Personal experience of living with a disability.
