Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Radiology and Nuclear Medicine team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a fast-paced environment, assisting with diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a clinical setting, with proficiency in interpretation of cardiac rhythms, Advanced Life Support training, and IV cannulation accreditation.

This permanent role offers a rotating roster with varied shift times, including nights and weekends. You will be required to be on call at times.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with Interventional Radiology procedures, including administration of procedural sedation.
  • Providing post-procedural care to patients, including post-sedation monitoring and safe discharge.
  • Preparing and caring for patients undergoing diagnostic examinations across various imaging modalities.

You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care and outcomes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse, with a minimum of one year's experience post-graduation in a clinical setting.
  • Previous experience in Radiology, critical care, or perioperative environments.
  • Proficiency in interpretation of cardiac rhythms, Advanced Life Support training, and IV cannulation accreditation.
