Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to join our team at Oracle. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing large-scale global programs focusing on software assurance in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

This role requires strong technical skills to follow conversations around mobile app software development, operating systems, or software development, and their intersection with software assurance needs. You will be the integration point for software development, software assurance, and cloud infrastructure teams.

About the Role
  • Manage overall program and cross-functional teams, risks, issues, dependencies, and conflicting priorities to successful completion.
  • Plan, schedule, and manage the execution of project activities for the software assurance team.
  • Create iteration work plans with input from various technical teams, including application security, mobile, cloud applications, and security teams.
  • Work with a diversified group of stakeholders and technical leads to identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Track work progresses and create audience-appropriate status reporting.
  • Develop and maintain agile board(s), Jira issues, and Confluence pages.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, or related discipline.
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience in program and project management.
  • 5+ years leading complex technical/engineering programs in the areas of Cloud or Mobile applications or Security Research.
  • Ability to manage all phases of the software development life cycle.
  • Experience in managing cloud-based projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Schedule awareness – ability to communicate priorities and sequence project work.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams in various time zones.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) with different levels in the org.
