About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to join our team at Lockheed Martin Australia.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support on virtualized & physical server, network infrastructure, and provide user support on desktop end user devices and flight training devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ICT support to user base
  • Ensure compliance by deploying patches and amending system configuration as directed
  • Contribute to deployment of enhancements and upgrades
  • Perform root cause analysis and rectification of problems via Problem and Change Management process
  • Review and improve key metrics, capturing systems performance, capacity planning and system health status
  • Improve existing and author new technical and training documentation and diagrams for the ICT system
  • Work to ensure that all events, incidents and problems are resolved ensuring uptime and optimum performance for the ICT environment
  • Actively participate and contribute to business continuity/disaster recovery infrastructure planning, documentation, and testing
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have tertiary qualifications from an accredited institution in a related discipline (typically Information Technology), and/or equivalent experience/combined education.

You will have strong experience supporting, investigating, diagnosing and resolving ICT related technical issues for physical, virtualized environments, networking devices, applications, varying OS and database systems.

You will have substantial experience in Hyper-V and Microsoft systems.
