About the Role
The Australian Government Department of Defence is seeking a skilled Electronics Maintenance Specialist to join our team at 453 Squadron Pearce Flight.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on Air Traffic Management systems and ancillary equipment.
- Undertake technical investigations to identify and rectify faults or maintenance deficiencies.
- Operate hand and power tools in varying work conditions.
- Manage and maintain spares, publications, support equipment, and tooling.
- Complete computerised maintenance documentation and compile maintenance reports.
- Carry out all workplace activities in accordance with WH&S and technical regulatory requirements.
- Provide junior maintenance staff with guidance and technical leadership.
- Undertake shift work and/or weekend work if required.
About Our Team
453 Squadron Pearce Flight provides preventative and corrective maintenance to Air Traffic Management, Aircraft Navigation Aids, and Surveillance Systems across four sites in the Bullsbrook WA area, all in support of RAAF Base Pearce's flying activities.
Requirements
- Qualifications related to Air Traffic Management systems and ancillary equipment maintenance associated at the APS 4-5 level.
- Technical aptitude and drive to complete necessary Air Traffic Management System training.

Applicants deemed suitable may be eligible for an Individual Flexibility Arrangement (IFA) in accordance with the IFA provisions of the Defence Enterprise Agreement, which may include additional remuneration and/or variation of other conditions.
