We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Care Specialist to join our team at Pearce Health Centre. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental services to patients, including emergency treatments, general examinations, and preventative treatments.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive dental care to patients, including emergency treatments, general examinations, and preventative treatments.
- Liaise with senior dental officers, medical officers, nursing officers, and specialist dental providers to ensure comprehensive dental care.
- Play a vital role in promoting and maintaining the good oral health of personnel in accordance with Defence Policies and Procedures.
- Ensure patients are dentally fit for deployment.
- Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Dentist, General with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Minimum 2 years full-time postgraduate clinical chair-side experience within the last 5 years (or part-time equivalent).
- Recent participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA.
- Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
