Regional Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled Regional Project Manager to join our Major Projects team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing projects valued between $10M and $50M, with a background in High Voltage zone substation or transmission construction.

About the Role

The Regional Project Manager will be responsible for leading the delivery of major projects, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, safety standards, quality, and compliance requirements. This will involve managing internal teams and subcontractors to optimize resource utilization and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of major projects, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, safety standards, quality, and compliance requirements.
  • Manage internal teams and subcontractors to optimize resource utilization and project execution.
  • Administer contracts and tenders to support project delivery and ensure contractual compliance.
  • Oversee project finances through accurate forecasting, cost control, and risk mitigation.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to align project outcomes with customer and business needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a tertiary qualification in engineering or a related discipline, as well as strong knowledge of project management principles with experience in electrical distribution or infrastructure projects.

You will also need to have proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams, a deep understanding of financial management, including budgeting and forecasting, and extensive industry knowledge of electricity distribution, sub-transmission, and construction standards.
