Electrical Engineer Automation and Controls

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role involves managing electrical instrumentation and control projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with project requirements and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of electrical instrumentation and control (I&C) projects, from design and procurement to installation, commissioning, and handover.
  • Develop and implement I&C strategies for new and existing facilities, ensuring alignment with project requirements and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Oversee I&C system calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest I&C technologies and advancements, actively seeking opportunities to implement them for improved performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in I&C design, implementation, and maintenance within a heavy industry setting.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing I&C projects from start to finish.
  • Strong understanding of electrical control systems, instrumentation types, and communication protocols.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
