They service various industries including mining, manufacturing, water, energy and infrastructure, providing full lifecycle management, turnkey projects, process optimisation, maintenance and more.
Job Description
As a Control Systems Engineer, you will contribute and lead projects of varying size, scope, and complexity.
- Provide technical expertise in PLC, SCADA, HMI, DCS, instrumentation, and automation systems.
- Prepare scopes of work, execution plans, and schedules.
- Act as Job Supervisor for assigned projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to required standards.
- E nsure compliance with safety, governance, and quality systems.
- Liaise directly with clients and foster strong relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Project coordination and planning.
- Technical design and implementation.
- Client communication and relationship building.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A degree in Engineering (Electrical, Control, Instrumentation, or related field).
- At least 3 years' experience in technical design, preferably in automation, control, and electrical projects.
- Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, HMI, and DCS systems integration.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget.
- Excellent technical writing, communication, and client-facing skills.
Desirable skills include:
- Functional Safety & Risk Management.
- Major project contract management.
- Application-specific systems (e.g. boiler controls, mining automation).
