About Us: Moore Australia (VIC/TAS) is a leading accounting and business advisory firm with a national and global presence, committed to helping people thrive. Our Taxation division has experienced significant growth and is now seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead the team.

The Role: As a key member of our dynamic Tax Advisory team, you will engage with a range of clients across various industries, providing expert solutions to complex tax issues. This senior leadership role offers a blend of client-focused compliance work, team oversight, and technical advisory, ensuring the smooth running of the Taxation division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop taxation consultancy advice, reports, and thought leadership articles
  • Provide letters of advice and transactional services
  • Conduct research and make recommendations on various taxation issues
  • Manage a growing team of tax advisors, including performance and career development
  • Set and manage targets and budgets
  • Oversee tax compliance engagements
  • Work with the management team to coordinate and delegate client work
  • Complete final-level reviews of compliance and advisory work
  • Identify and act on new business development opportunities

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will have a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or related undergraduate degree, along with professional certification such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA), or equivalent. A minimum of 4 years' experience in professional services, with a strong focus on business advisory and compliance, is also required. Additionally, you should have exposure to larger client groups, complex business structures, and multiple entities and technical intricacies.
