Senior Art Educator Position

This role is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Senior Art Educator and contribute to the growth and development of our students.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled educator with a passion for delivering high-quality art programs at senior secondary level. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of teaching from a Christian worldview perspective and possess strong knowledge of teaching strategies that promote student engagement and achievement.

  • The primary responsibility of this educator will be to deliver the curriculum in a manner consistent with the guidelines and policies set by the school board and leadership team, and from a Christian worldview perspective.
  • Maintaining a learning environment that fosters positive attitudes towards learning and encourages students to reach their full potential.
  • Effectively assessing student performance and providing feedback in an encouraging and confidence-building manner.
  • Building relationships with students and parents in a partnering approach to learning.
Key Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

  • Hold relevant tertiary qualifications in education and be registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the school's Statement of Faith.
  • Experience teaching Art at senior secondary level.
  • Sound knowledge of teaching from a Christian worldview perspective.
  • Ability to utilise a range of teaching strategies as may be relevant.
  • Ability to build strong partnering relationships and communication channels with students and parents.
