Job Title: Art Instructor

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Art Instructor to lead our students in artistic development.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to deliver the curriculum in a manner consistent with educational guidelines and policies, from a Christian perspective.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver the curriculum in a safe and supportive environment
  • Foster a positive attitude towards learning among students
  • Effectively assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
  • Plan and execute daily activities to fulfill the objectives of the school's educational mission
  • Build relationships with students and parents to establish a collaborative approach to learning
Qualifications and Characteristics
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in education and registration with the relevant teaching authority
  • Demonstrated commitment to the school's faith-based ethos
  • Experience teaching Art at senior secondary level
  • Sound knowledge of teaching from a Christian perspective
  • Ability to utilize a range of teaching strategies as may be relevant
