Job Role: Accommodation and Community Engagement Support Specialist
Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate support specialist to join our team. As an accommodation and community engagement support specialist, you will be working closely with individuals with disabilities, providing them with personalized support and assistance in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver a wide range of domestic supports within the home and community
- Support customers to engage in community-based activities
- Support person-centred plans that identify a customer's life goals
- Ensure positive behaviour support plans are followed
- Administration duties, expense and mandatory reports
- Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
- Ability to follow Person Centred plans and assist people to achieve their goals and outcomes
- Previous experience with manual handling and medication administration
- Willingness to assist with personal care and domestic duties experience
- Ability to manage situations as they arise with patience and maturity
- A Valid drivers licence and a willingness to use your private vehicle (aligned with motor vehicle allowance rebate)
