About the Role

We're seeking an experienced professional to lead and support our Fleet Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing safe, sustainable, and customer-focused fleet-related services and end-to-end strategies.

  • Key Accountabilities:
  • Lead and mentor the Fleet Engineering team, prioritizing tasks, and supporting staff development.
  • Develop and maintain fit-for-purpose, safe, cost-effective, and compliant fleet standards.
  • Manage Capex budget plans, monitor performance, and provide analysis and reporting.
  • Oversee project management, design, and engineering activities, ensuring compliance with HVNL.
  • Maintain effective supplier arrangements and oversee vehicle and plant procurement, disposal, and replacement processes.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders and support the delivery of the overall fleet plan within budget.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, such as Mechanical or Business.
  • A current C Vehicle licence up to 4.5 tonnes GVM.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar professional role within the Energy/Electrical/Transport/Utilities/Manufacturing Industry.
  • Knowledge of SAP, desirable for reporting critical fleet data, including budget planning.
