As a seasoned telecommunications professional, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage a team of skilled individuals on exciting electrical communications projects. Your role will be to oversee site operations, ensuring that safety and quality standards are met, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of telecommunications project managers, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and legislative requirements.
  • Supervise crew members, subcontractors, and workplace participants, fostering a productive and respectful work environment.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental guidelines, conducting toolbox meetings and daily pre-starts.
  • Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and goods, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors, addressing any issues and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Monitor project progress, manage labor forecasting, and ensure work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Maintain a high standard of quality control, ensuring all work meets specifications and legislative requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Valid Electrical License and Telecommunications Accreditation (ASIAL telecommunications cabling license).
  • Cert III in Telecommunications.
  • Proven experience managing telecommunications projects, including staff supervision, client liaison, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of NSW Health ICT Cabling Standards and construction industry practices.
  • Fluke certification and experience with vendor-based telecommunications products.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to resolve conflicts and lead teams effectively.
