Senior Project Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to lead the delivery of major electrical packages on a large renewable energy project in Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our team and be responsible for overseeing the full scope of electrical design and supply scope packages.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans to ensure timely delivery, adherence to budget, and compliance with specifications.
  • Pursue opportunities for design optimisation/value engineering to enhance project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Review and approve project documents, including design drawings, specifications, inspection reports, and changes, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • IDentify, mitigate, and escalate risks to ensure the project meets its schedule and obligations while minimizing risk and maximizing opportunities for cost avoidance and/or reduction.
  • Manage subcontractors during the construction & commissioning phase, ensuring seamless collaboration and coordination.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in electrical engineering.
  • Proven experience in delivering electrical packages on major infrastructure, energy, O&G, or power generation projects.
  • Strong project management and client-facing skills, with excellent commercial acumen.
