Job Title: Senior Project Engineer - High Voltage Transmission

 

About the Role:

 

CPB Contractors is seeking an experienced Traffic Manager (Senior Project Engineer) to join the Hume Link West team.

 

Scope of Work:

 

The Hume Link West scope of works includes delivery of new 500kV double circuit transmission lines spanning ~140kms from Wagga Wagga Substation to a new Substation at Gugaa, the Interface Point with Hume Link East near Gundagai and a new substation at Maragle in the Snowy Mountains for future connection to Snowy 2.0.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the scheduling of traffic operations
  • Ensure compliance with safe work practices, company policies and procedures and legislative obligations, Traffic Management Plans and Traffic Guidance Schemes
  • Managing traffic procurement and ensure subcontractors are set up to succeed through implementing robust systems and processes
  • Deliver best for project outcomes through positive leadership, collaboration, identification of risks and interface with stakeholders
  • Conduct regular onsite audits and leadership walks

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Civil or Traffic Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years relevant construction and traffic experience
  • Experience in development of Traffic Management Plans and Traffic Guidance Scheme (TGS), auditing and contractor management
  • Experience in RAPID software, as well as Microsoft Office platforms including Excel
