Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the production and project management of electronic equipment, including testing, fault finding, and system design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support in the development and maintenance of electronic manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with quality standards and company policies.
  • Conduct functional and in-circuit testing of electronic equipment, identifying and troubleshooting faults.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design and develop new electronic products, ensuring they meet customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Assist in managing projects, writing scoping documents, and developing project plans.
  • Support the 'Type Approval' and 'Acceptance' processes for all electronic products, including product testing and certification.
  • Maintain production and quality records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary education in Electronic/Electrical Systems or related field.
  • Experience in electronic manufacturing, preferably in the traffic signal industry.
  • Knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes, including PCB assembly, testing, and inspection.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicating technical information to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools, such as CAD, CAM, and ERP systems.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with regular deadlines and priorities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance.
  • Travel may be required to attend training, meetings, or customer sites (approximately 10% of working time).

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
