Job Title: Field Engineer

An exciting opportunity has presented itself to join our team as a skilled professional working on the nbn network in Dubbo. The role requires you to represent the nbn services team for all field-based assurance and build activities.

As a technical expert, you will be responsible for supporting, integrating, augmenting, and conducting field audits across nbn and services connected to the network. This includes providing high-level field support which may involve travel, scheduled after-hours activities, and being part of an on-call roster.

This role involves field management and network assurance for nbn's passive and active network, with a focus on network upgrades/assurance. It requires providing on-site technical support and resolving escalations. You will handle assurance activities and network element upgrades with a strong understanding of FTTP and FTTC technologies.

The ideal candidate should have a technical background in conducting FTTx maintenance and restoration. They should possess robust network assurance expertise in one or more nbn technologies such as Ethernet, DWDM, GPON, or VDSL. Having the ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing work environment is essential.
