Network Assurance and Field Engineering Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for a Network Assurance Engineer to join our Field Services team working on the nbn network in Dubbo.
About Your RoleAs a Network Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for representing our team for all field-based assurance and build activities.
- You will support integration, augmentation, field audits, connect quality and Delivery Partner quality activities across nbn and the services connected to the network.
- You will provide high-level technical support which may involve travel, scheduled after-hours activities, and may require you to be part of an on-call roster and respond to after-hours call outs.
Network management and assurance for nbn's passive and active network will be your main focus with a priority on network upgrades/assurance.
Providing on-site technical support and resolving escalations will be key aspects of this role.
About YouThe ideal candidate should have experience in conducting FTTx maintenance and restoration.
Robust network assurance expertise in one or more nbn technologies such as Ethernet, DWDM, GPON, or VDSL would be highly beneficial.
Technical proficiency combined with strong network assurance knowledge will enable you to resolve complex issues effectively.
You will be a natural problem solver with a methodological approach.
Quick learning aptitude will be crucial in this fast-paced environment.
Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to manage conflicting priorities are essential skills required for this role.
A highly organized team player who can adapt to changing work conditions will excel in this position.
