Job Title: Strategic Data Migration Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Data Migration Specialist to join our team and drive data migration projects forward.

Responsibilities:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in data migration projects, preferably within a professional services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of data migration tools and techniques, including data mapping, data profiling, and data cleansing.
  • Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, Microsoft SSIS, or IBM DataStage.
  • Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages for data manipulation and transformation.
  • Understanding of data governance and data quality principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify data issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, interacting with stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to clients.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and data migration to/from cloud environments is an advantage.
  • Relevant certifications in data management or data migration are desirable.
