Counsellor for Veteran Mental Health Services

The role of a mental health clinician is to provide immediate, trauma-informed mental health support and make appropriate referrals to specialist and crisis care services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality intake, risk assessment, crisis intervention, and brief counselling.
- Deliver evidence-based individual, couple, and family interventions.
- Coordinate care with families, other providers, and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate documentation and case notes in line with policy and standards.
- Contribute to team meetings, case reviews, and continuous improvement.
This is an opportunity to work within a telephone-based clinical team providing intake, assessment, and triage services. As a qualified mental health professional, you will have experience in intake, triage, and brief interventions in a fast-paced environment.
What We Offer- An attractive hourly rate: $60-$65 per hour + casual loading + superannuation + shift penalties.
