Mental Health Counsellor

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Counsellor to provide expert support to carers and the community in Maroochydore, Queensland.
About the OpportunityThis is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality counselling services. You will work with various communities, including LGBTI, young carers from rural and/or remote communities, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Key Responsibilities:- To develop and maintain positive relationships with community groups to deliver targeted counselling services
- To provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients
- To collect and analyse data to inform service development and improvement initiatives
- A recognised qualification in mental health counselling, psychotherapy or social work, and eligibility for accreditation with AASW, ACA, or PACFA
- A minimum of three years' experience in mental health counselling in Australia, including experience working with children and adolescents
- A demonstrated understanding and commitment to social inclusion and diversity principles
