Advanced Practice Nurse Specialist

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing patient-centered nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Provide expert nursing care in all areas of Apheresis including therapeutic and cellular therapies and clinical trials.
- Maintain current knowledge and skills relevant to practice area.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families and other healthcare providers.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and maintain a culture of safety.
- Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Apheresis experience with cannulation and CVAD management skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of evidence-informed practice and critical thinking.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
