Financial Strategy Lead

This role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in financial control, accounting standards, and stakeholder management.
The ideal candidate will have experience preparing and reviewing quarterly, half-yearly, and annual submissions for external financial reporting. They should also possess strong FX exposure management skills and be able to lead strategic projects to improve processes and efficiencies.
In addition, the successful candidate will provide expert advice on accounting and reporting for new treasury products and complex transactions. A Qualified Chartered Accountant with experience in financial control or reporting within a large organization is essential.
Key Requirements- Chartered Accounting qualification.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Experience applying IFRS or other accounting standards to complex situations.
This position plays a crucial part in supporting Treasury in funding and liquidity activities. It involves managing Macquarie's financial, tax, and treasury activities, as well as fostering culture and community engagement, and stakeholder relations.
