About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at BAE Systems Australia. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure effective quality management and control.
  • Ensure that all work performed meets the required quality standards and specifications.
  • Undertake regular reviews and reporting on quality practices and processes.
  • Provide guidance and support on quality-related matters to team members.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement of business processes and practices.
  • Support quality planning activities and assurance activities.
  • Provide expert advice on quality standards and conditions in contracts and proposals.
About You
  • You must be an Australian citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a defence security clearance.
  • You should have a relevant electrical/mechanical trade qualification.
  • A sound understanding of quality practices and continuous improvement is desirable.
  • You should have intermediate MS Office skills, especially in Word and Excel.
  • You should have excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with key stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, Defence, and Civil Technical Regulatory is desirable.
  • You should have previous experience in a quality technician role.
