We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at BAE Systems Australia. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality policies, procedures, and standards.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure effective quality management and control.
- Ensure that all work performed meets the required quality standards and specifications.
- Undertake regular reviews and reporting on quality practices and processes.
- Provide guidance and support on quality-related matters to team members.
- Facilitate continuous improvement of business processes and practices.
- Support quality planning activities and assurance activities.
- Provide expert advice on quality standards and conditions in contracts and proposals.
- You must be an Australian citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a defence security clearance.
- You should have a relevant electrical/mechanical trade qualification.
- A sound understanding of quality practices and continuous improvement is desirable.
- You should have intermediate MS Office skills, especially in Word and Excel.
- You should have excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with key stakeholders.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, Defence, and Civil Technical Regulatory is desirable.
- You should have previous experience in a quality technician role.
