**Job Opportunity:** Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Assistant Store Manager. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in leading and coaching a team of retail professionals, driving sales performance and customer service excellence, and embedding operational consistency across your region.

The ideal candidate will have a strong retail background, commercial acumen, and a passion for customer service. They will be able to work effectively with customers to make their vision for their home a reality by providing styling solutions and recommendations, upselling and cross-selling by ascertaining customer needs.

A key aspect of this role is the ability to coach and guide the retail sales team to achieve targets and create a unique shopping experience that delivers exceptional customer service. This includes supporting day-to-day store operations including rostering, financial performance, administrative tasks, recruiting, and onboarding of new team members.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be able to develop and implement strategies to maximize both sales and customer service targets, thereby driving store performance. They will possess strong commercial acumen and a results-driven mindset that turns strategies into success stories.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in retail sales with a proven track record of achieving targets

  • Resourceful with a can-do attitude and ability to solve problems and provide solutions
