Electrical Leadership Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Supervisor to lead our esteemed technical team at a world-class operation.

As an Electrical Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in upholding our STARR Core Values of Safety, Teamwork, Accountability, Respect and Results.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 2 years leadership experience on a mine site with strong leadership skills and ability to lead a team to achieve organisational goals.
  • Sound understanding of Fixed Plant maintenance principals and their application in practice.
  • Sound knowledge of operation of fixed processing plant equipment.
  • Good level of knowledge in computer literacy, in particular Pronto and MS Office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the team in the maintenance of a safe and productive work environment by ensuring the development and implementation of safe work practices/procedures that meet statutory and company OHS&E requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with Process Supervisors and Mechanical Supervisors to ensure effective utilisation and optimisation of process plant and facilities.
  2. Manage electrical personnel to ensure effective maintenance of plant and ancillaries.
  3. Provide effective direction and advice to team members, lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  4. Develop and coach direct reports to promote employee development.

Requirements:

  • Current Police Clearance.
  • Frontline management or equivalent desirable.
  • Current C Class Western Australian Drivers Licence.
