Key Role in Operations Technology

We seek a skilled Product Owner to drive IT solution development and continuous improvement for our airline's operations control centres.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading user requirements gathering and analysis, data research, business analysis, evaluating and implementing innovative products.
  • Drive product implementation by leveraging industry research and building business cases to gather required funding.
  • Engage and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure products meet performance expectations.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and engagement by facilitating effective communication between internal teams and vendors.
  • Monitor and evaluate product progress and key performance indicators, analyse product performance and iterate on optimisation strategies.
  • Champion data-driven decision-making by leveraging data analytics and insights to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment and stakeholder engagement to support successful execution of the Operations Technology roadmap.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years in a Product Owner role or similar.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of product management, design and analysis principles and experience working with a development team to deliver features on time.
  • Confluence and Jira experience preferred.
  • Proven experience with product development, roadmap creation and execution.
  • Experience with transformational enterprise level projects.
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment, fostering collaboration and effective teamwork among cross-functional teams.
  • Strong drive, initiative, ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent project leadership, risk and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to various audiences.
  • Proven interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills, critical for understanding and addressing the unique requirements of diverse customer bases.
