Operational Efficiency Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operational Efficiency Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing site operations, ensuring the efficient and effective use of resources, and optimizing production processes to enhance efficiency and product quality.

About the Opportunity:

  • SUPPORTING SITE OPERATIONS: You will work closely with the management team to design, develop, and optimize production processes.
  • MANAGING SITE PERSONNEL: You will oversee and coordinate the activities of site personnel to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
  • COLLABORATING WITH STAKEHOLDERS: You will work with key stakeholders to ensure that production goals are met while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure safety, well-being, environmental compliance, and quality standards while managing soil and effluent processes and overseeing thermal plant and soil washing operations.
  2. Monitor and review operational activities and assist in maintenance of thermal and soil washing plants.
  3. Provide technical oversight and troubleshooting.
  4. Coordinate and plan effective interaction between thermal area and general site operations.
  5. Liaise with the Facility Manager and site management.
  6. Manage resources, costs, and site activities efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary degree in a relevant engineering field (civil, electrical, industrial, chemical, or mechanical).
  • Experience in project management and delivery of process plant systems from design to operational handover.
  • Experience in leading/mentoring and ability to communicate with a multi-faceted team.
  • Exposure in management and operation of a process plant, plant unit processes, and diagnostic methods.
  • Ability to investigate safety incidents and provide continuous improvement to site safety.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
