We're seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Field Service team based in Somerton. As a Field Service Technician, you'll be responsible for providing diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services to our customers' equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite technical support on Hitachi equipment, including diagnostics, repair, and maintenance.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Ensure your work sites are kept tidy and all paperwork is up-to-date.
- Conduct your work in compliance with all quality and safety standards and procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum Certificate III in a Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent discipline (Diesel Mechanic).
- Previous experience as a heavy diesel mechanic is essential.
- OEM equipment experience is highly regarded.
- You'll need a current driver's license.
- You should be able to work autonomously and proactively solve technical issues.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, and customer service etiquette are essential.
- An uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and procedures is required.
