**Job Overview:**

We are seeking an experienced Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components using various welding techniques.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Fabricate and assemble metal components using hand welding and flame-cutting equipment
  • Operate power chipper, portable grinder, or arc-cutting equipment to remove excess weld, slag, or spatter
  • Position workpieces and clamps together in jigs or fixtures
  • Preheat workpiece using hand torch or heating furnace
  • Review layouts, blueprints, diagrams, or work orders to prepare for welding or cutting metal components

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Certificate III or IV in Metal Fabrication or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years' experience in the field
  • National driver's license
  • RISI card
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work unsupervised and manage multiple tasks

**Benefits:**

  • Annual salary: $80,000 plus superannuation
  • Permanent full-time position
  • All NSW locations available
