Senior Lawyer Litigation: Exciting Career Opportunities in Sydney CBD or Parramatta

  • Role: Senior Lawyer Litigation - Multiple Positions Available
  • Location: Sydney CBD (Haymarket) or Parramatta, Flexible Working Options Offered
  • Grade: Clerk Grade 09/10

The Legal Team supports various regulators, including NSW Fair Trading, SafeWork NSW, State Insurance Regulatory Authority, and Building Commission NSW.

  • As a key member of the team, you will provide legal services to one of the above regulators, working in a dynamic and fast-paced regulatory environment.
  • You will join a passionate and motivated group of professionals providing independent, professional legal advice and legal services on a wide range of matters.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing clear and concise legal advice and representation across a variety of areas involving prosecutions, administrative reviews, and litigation.
  • Undertaking litigation and advising counsel as necessary to ensure effective legal representation on behalf of the organisation.
  • Analysing and interpreting legislation and evidence; drafting documents, including advice, court pleadings, statements of fact, and submissions.
About You
  • You are an admitted legal practitioner of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and hold or are eligible to hold a current practising certificate as a solicitor.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to apply legal principles in a practical way.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and flexibly with diverse stakeholders and other lawyers, to support optimal delivery outcomes.
