Key Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day operations of the SOC team.
- Monitor, analyse and share relevant cyber threat intelligence.
- Investigate escalations from internal and external stakeholders to determine root cause and required follow-up actions.
- Assist with identifying potential vulnerabilities and compiling recommendations to manage identified risks.
- Respond to and resolve cyber security events and incidents.
- Assist with automating security operations triage and response activities.
This role requires occasional on-call shifts, which will be compensated accordingly.
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll need experience in Cyber Security Operations, including threat management and cyber incident response.
A strong understanding of computer networking, operating systems and cloud computing platforms and services is essential.
Familiarity with multiple security capabilities, including SIEM platforms, endpoint protection, secure mail and internet gateways.
Holding or being willing to obtain relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CCNA or AWS Certified Security, is highly valued.
