Job Overview

The Royal Women's Hospital is Australia's first and largest specialist hospital dedicated to enhancing the health and wellbeing of newborns and women at every stage of life.

Within our Abortion and Contraception Service, you will play a pivotal role in providing care to women seeking abortion and contraception services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive clinical and operational support for clients attending the service.
  • Effectively manage complex social and clinical situations.
  • Direct client care through sexual health screening and assessment.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Registration as a Division 1 Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • Relevant experience in sexual health with a commitment to evidence-based outcomes.
  • Proven ability to provide high-quality sexual health care within a hospital or community setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective client interaction management.
  • Demonstrated understanding of sexual health issues within a social model of health.
