Women's Healthcare Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Women's Healthcare Specialist to join our team at La Trobe University Medical Centre. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to women from diverse backgrounds.

This is an excellent opportunity for a General Practitioner with a passion for women's health to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in sexual health and mental health, while working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to patients.

About the Role

  • Provide exceptional women's healthcare services to patients, including routine check-ups, Pap smears, breast checks, and family planning advice;
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient;
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes;
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with best practices and guidelines in women's health;

What We're Looking For

  • Vocationally registered General Practitioner;
  • Non VR with external supervision considered;
  • Experience in women's healthcare; background in sexual health and/or mental health preferred but not essential.
