About This PositionThis Site Reliability Engineer role is crucial in the ongoing development and maintenance of the observability platform, including SRE operations such as traffic forecasting, on-call support, incident management, and production readiness.
Main Responsibilities:- Gather insights using monitoring tools and past experience with microservice-based applications to assess and improve platform reliability and performance.
- Develop and enhance our kubernetes-based testing environment, driving continuous improvement of quality and testing practices across Engineering.
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure systems that meet user needs and align with business objectives.
We're seeking a passionate Site Reliability Engineer with strong cloud infrastructure knowledge, containerization expertise, and DevOps practices experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile:- Honed software engineering skills and familiarity with site reliability engineering, testing practices, and production operations.
- Experience developing and testing software for distributed microservice applications, as well as supporting, investigating, and resolving issues in production environments using logs, metrics, and traces.
- Past experience with performance testing tools like Grafana, k6, and Locust, resulting in tangible improvements in performance and reliability.
