Cloud Engineering Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Software Engineer to contribute to the design and implementation of cloud-based infrastructure that supports our hosted applications and services. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to leverage their expertise in cloud solutions and make a meaningful impact on our organization.

Job Overview:
Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud security principles, familiarity with cloud security practices, and experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement Cloud Infrastructure: Develop and implement cloud infrastructure using public cloud principles and best practices.
  • Automation and Optimization: Build automation leveraging CI/CD processes, automated testing, unit testing, code coverage, and other software development best practices to optimize platform performance.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement cloud security measures and controls in alignment with industry standards and compliance requirements to protect our cloud infrastructure.
  • Vulnerability Management: Regularly assess and remediate vulnerabilities and threats to the cloud infrastructure using automation to ensure the highest level of security.
  • Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders to establish technical direction and negotiate technical decision points for innovative solutions that meet business needs.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' experience in platform engineering with a focus on cloud solutions (Azure & AWS).
  • Cloud Knowledge: Strong understanding of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS models.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
