Hotel Operations Manager

This role involves overseeing the successful overnight operation of our luxury hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a seamless transition from day to night shift, maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction and employee safety.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position in a 5-star hotel, excellent supervisory skills and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.

  1. Key Responsibilities:
  2. - Conduct thorough handovers with afternoon staff to ensure all necessary information is shared.
  3. - Act as a key member of the Emergency Response Team, ensuring the safety of guests and employees in emergency situations.
  4. - Liaise closely with the Security Department to address RSA and RSG issues, and provide support where needed.
  5. - Handle guest complaints and concerns in a professional and efficient manner.
  6. - Maintain effective communication between shifts and departments to ensure a smooth operational flow.
  7. - Ensure adherence to hotel policies, procedures and standards related to OH&S and Injury Management.
  8. Requirements:
  9. - At least 3 years' experience in a similar role in a 5-star hotel.
  10. - Excellent supervisory and communication skills.
  11. - Proven experience dealing directly with guests.
  12. - Efficiency with Opera system.
  13. - Previous knowledge of accounting standards and procedures.
  14. - Familiarity with emergency and fire procedures.
